Setting up your first website

Once you've ordered a hosting plan, follow these steps to get your website online.

Step 1: Access Your Hosting Control Panel

After your order is activated, you'll receive an email with:

  • Control panel URL (e.g., cpanel.yourdomain.co.uk)
  • Username and password
  • Nameserver information

Step 2: Upload Your Website Files

Using File Manager:

  1. Log into cPanel/WHM
  2. Navigate to File Manager
  3. Go to the public_html directory
  4. Click Upload and select your files

Using FTP:

  1. Use an FTP client (FileZilla recommended)
  2. Connect using the credentials from your welcome email
  3. Upload files to /public_html

Step 3: Create Email Accounts

  1. In cPanel, go to Email Accounts
  2. Click Create
  3. Enter the email address and password
  4. Set mailbox quota

Step 4: Install SSL Certificate

All AXYN hosting plans include free SSL:

  1. In cPanel, go to SSL/TLS Status
  2. Click Run AutoSSL
  3. Your site will be secured with HTTPS
