Transfer your domain to AXYN for easier management and competitive pricing.

Before You Begin

Ensure your domain:

  • Is at least 60 days old
  • Is unlocked at current registrar
  • Has a valid authorization (EPP) code
  • Has correct contact information

Transfer Process

Step 1: Prepare Your Domain

  1. Log into your current registrar
  2. Unlock the domain (remove transfer lock)
  3. Get authorization code (also called EPP code or transfer key)
  4. Disable WHOIS privacy temporarily

Step 2: Initiate Transfer at AXYN

  1. Go to portal.axyn.co.uk/order
  2. Search for your domain
  3. Select "Transfer" option
  4. Enter authorization code
  5. Complete checkout

Step 3: Approve Transfer

You'll receive an email at your domain's registered email:

  • Click the approval link
  • Confirm the transfer
  • Transfer completes in 5-7 days

What Happens During Transfer

  • Domain functionality continues normally
  • Website and email remain active
  • 1 year is added to your registration
  • Original expiry date is preserved (+ 1 year)

Common Issues

"Domain is locked" - Unlock at current registrar first "Invalid auth code" - Request new code from current registrar
"Contact email unreachable" - Update WHOIS before transferring

After Transfer Completes

  • Update nameservers if needed
  • Configure DNS in your AXYN portal
  • Enable auto-renewal to prevent expiry
