Managing nameservers

Nameservers tell the internet where to find your website. Here's how to manage them.

AXYN Nameservers

When hosting with AXYN, use these nameservers:

• n1.axyn.co.uk (Primary)
• n2.axyn.co.uk (Secondary)

How to Update Nameservers

In Your AXYN Client Portal:

1. Log in to portal.axyn.co.uk
2. Go to Services → My Domains
3. Click on your domain name
4. Select "Nameservers" tab
5. Enter the nameservers above
6. Click Update

With Your Domain Registrar:

If you registered your domain elsewhere:

1. Log into your domain registrar
2. Find DNS or nameserver settings
3. Replace existing nameservers with AXYN's
4. Save changes

Propagation Time

DNS changes can take 24-48 hours to propagate worldwide. During this time:

• Your website may be unavailable intermittently
• Email delivery may be affected
• Use https://dnschecker.org to monitor propagation

Custom Nameservers

For white-label hosting, you can create custom nameservers (e.g., ns1.yourdomain.co.uk):

1. Register nameserver hostnames with your registrar
2. Point them to AXYN's IP addresses
3. Contact support for IP addresses
